ASANRA celebrated 25 years of Regional Road Excellence on Thursday, 28th May, 2028 at Travel Lodge in Kasane, Botswana. The celebration was marked by activities that included presentation of certificate of appreciation to Mrs. Charity Chimangansasa in recognition of the 18 Years of untiring service to the Association, Certificates of Recognition to ASANRA Member States and gifts by the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Hon. Noah S.L.M. Salakae.
During the celebration, the Chobe District Commissioner, Mr. Tshepo Mophuting introduced the members and Council Chairman of Chobe District Council, Honourable Johane Chenjekwa welcomed all the members to Kasane. Eng. Willard Kaunde, gave opening remarks on behalf of ASANRA Vice President and finally the Minister of Transport gave keynote address.
Matsosangwao Traditional Group entertained the members before the Member of Parliament for Chobe Constituency; Hon. Simasiku Oscar Mapulanga gave vote of thanks.
