Mozambique, through the Administração Nacional de Estradas (ANE), will host the 49th ASANRA Board and Committee Meetings in Vilankulo, Inhambane Province, Mozambique, from 23rd – 27th November 2026.
The programme will commence with meetings of the six ASANRA Committees, which will be held during the first three days of the programme. The Committee meetings will be followed by the 49th ASANRA Board Meeting, scheduled for 26th November 2026.
On 27th November 2026, delegates will participate in a field visit as part of the programme. The visit will provide an opportunity for delegates to gain practical exposure to road infrastructure and related developments in the host country.
Members from ASANRA’s active member states are expected to attend the 49th Board and Committee Meetings. The participating countries include Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and the host country, Mozambique.
The meetings will provide an opportunity for the member states to review ASANRA programmes and activities, deliberate on key issues affecting the regional road transport sector, share experiences and strengthen cooperation among member states.
